The invention relates to a three-dimensional puzzle of the "brain-teaser" type, comprising 12 parallepipedal elements to be assembled together, in which elements suitable notches have been made for this purpose, in order to form a Saint Andrew's cross. The element forming a key, intended to lock the assembly, consists of at least two parallepipedal elements 1 and 3 each having a suitable notch and provided in order to be assembled transversely to one another (the plane face 1d of the element 1 which is arranged vertically in the figure being inserted in the notch of the face 3b of the element 3) before one of the branches (faces 3e-3c) of the cross thus formed is inserted in the assembly. The elements of the puzzle may be formed from wood or from plastic, for example. They may be coloured differently, a single colour for the four elements of one and the same plane. <IMAGE>
