PURPOSE:To prevent the titled furnace from adhering ashes without a loss of calorific value and inexpensively, by providing a cooling box to work by air and using already heat-exchanged air as air for burning coal. CONSTITUTION:An intake port 6 of primary air is provided on the outside of a wall of a furnace under a clamping condition of a mobile fire grate 4, and a cooling box 7 is provided on the inside of the wall of the furnace in connection with the intake port 6. Although coal loaded on the mobile fire grate 4 is burnt in turn and discharged in ashes, as the cooling box 7 is kept at a comparatively low temperature by cooling air, which is to be used as primary air for burning later, there are no sticking and fused-deposition of the ashes on the cooling box 7 and even if they are sticked, inconvenience such as deteriorating burning effect is eliminated as the ashes are fallen off when they are grown up to some extent. As the air which has obtained a calorific value by the cooling box 7 is used as the primary air, efficient operation can be performed inexpensively. |
