PURPOSE:To improve followability to a load by making an output of a pulverized coal burner vary rapidly to a changing load, by a method wherein a pulverized coal quantity to be fed to the pulverized coal burner from a supply source of pulverized coal is made into a fixed quantity exceeding a burning load and surplus pulverized coal is returned to the supply source of the pulverized coal. CONSTITUTION:Although coal pulverized by a coal pulverizer 1 is fed to a pulverized coal burner 5 of a fire furnace 20 of a boiler along with primary air through a supply pipe 10, as for a pulverized coal quantity to be fed in this instance, a predetermined quantity of the coal exceeding a load of the burner is fed at all times. Surplus pulverized coal exceeding a burning load is recirculated to the coal pulverizer 1 by a reflux fan 12 through a reflux line 11 remained at an inlet of the pulverized coal burner 5. A reflux quantity of the pulverized coal can be made to correspond to the load rapidly and easily as an air quantity passing through the reflux line 11 is controlled by the reflux fan 12 and a pulverized coal quantity passing through the reflux line 11 is varied according to a load changing signal. |
