PURPOSE:To facilitate the control of operation by eliminating a necessity to reduce the load of a plant upon shifting reverse washing operation to normal washing operation and improve thermal efficiency of the plant throughout a year by a method wherein pipelines are constituted so that the whole amount of the cooling water flows through both or either one of the bundle of inlet tubes or the same of outlet tubes of the condenser upon operating any valve. CONSTITUTION:The first valve 8 and the second valve 11 are interposed in the pipeline 10 connecting between a water intaking pump 6 and the entrance water chamber 2a of a fore water chamber 2 while the third valve 12 and the fourth valve 15 are interposed in the pipeline 13 from the outlet water chamber 2b to a water discharging port. A connecting tube 20, connecting between the first valve 8 and the second valve 11 as well as the outlet water chamber 2b and the third valve 12, is provided between the pipelines 10, 13 and the connecting tube 21, connecting between the downstream side of the second valve 11 and the same side of the third valve 12, is provided. These connecting tubes 20, 21 are provided with the fifth valve 22 and the sixth valve 23. The pipeline between the third valve 12 and the fourth valve 15 of the pipeline 13 and the aft water chamber 3 of the condenser is connected by the connecting tube 25 provided with the seventh valve 24. |
