PURPOSE:To prevent the unevenness in fixing by a flash fixing device by fixing an unfixed toner image on a form by the radiant heat energy of a laser beam radiated from a laser light source. CONSTITUTION:When a form 10 is fed along a form conveyance path beyond the transfer point of a photosensitive body 5 while the unfixed toner image is stuck, the laser light source 8 is driven and a polygon mirror 7 starts rotating once the laser beam is emitted. Consequently, the laser beam is oscillated at right angles to the conveyance direction of the form and this scanning operation is repeated in the slight movement of the form because the rotating speed of the polygon mirror 7 is high; and the unfixed toner image on the form 10 and its circumference rise in temperature enough for fixing, so that the fixing is carried out without unevenness. |
