PURPOSE:To restrict the deformation of a lower shell and prevent the leakage of internal fluid even if the force of earthquake is exerted in the axial direction of small tubes by a method wherein a large size reinforcing rib is provided at the center of the shell plate of the lower shell and, further, a beam member is connected to a stay to form a truss structure with respect to the axial direction of the small tubes. CONSTITUTION:The large size reinforcing ribs 20, attached to a shell plate for the lower shell 1, the beam members 19, bridging over the large size reinforcing ribs 20 in parallel to the axises of the small tubes, the stays 21, connecting the beam members 19 and the large size reinforcing ribs 20 from the center of the shell plate with opening angles, form the truss structure. Transversal load to the small tube is distributed to each members and the deformation of the shell plate may be restricted by forming such truss structure. |
