发明名称 HEAT ACCUMULATING MATERIAL FOR DIRECT HEAT EXCHANGE
摘要 PURPOSE:To slow down the floating speed of a heat medium and decrease the height of tower by a method wherein a thickening agent is added into the mixture of hydrated salt and water to control the viscosity thereof upon accumulating heat at a value higher than specified. CONSTITUTION:The heat accumulating material 4 is made by adding the thickening agent into the mixture of hydrated salt and water while the viscosity thereof upon accumulating heat is adjusted to at least 200 centipoise. The heat medium, whose temperature is decreased by a thermal load 7, is changed into small drips 3', effects heat exchange under floating through the heat accumulating material 4 and obtains heat energy from the heat accumulating material 4. The hydrated salt, which has been in a melting condition in the heat accumulating material 4, releases the latent heat under being solidified. The floating speed of the small drips 3' may be slowed down by increasing the viscosity mu of the heat accumulating material 4.
