Process for bonding a ceramic unit with a thermoplastic resin unit without the use of adhesives. This process consists in pressing a part of the ceramic unit 2 into the thermoplastic resin unit 1, the part of the ceramic unit being heated above the temperature at which the thermoplastic resin of the thermoplastic resin unit softens.
