PURPOSE:To secure such a flat type cathode-ray tube that is suitable for mass production and excellent in capacity, by setting two electron guns in almost parallel with a screen facing to each other, while making up each of electron beams so as to have a deflection range in common. CONSTITUTION:Each main axis of a first electron gun 51A and a second electron gun 51B is arranged on an X-axis. Electron beams 52A and 52B emitted out of each electron gun have a deflection range by a common deflecting yoke 53, and each of electron beams 51A and 52B scans each of ranges 54A and 54B dividing a screen 54 each. A scanning line is scanned in a way of selecting electron beams from 52A to 52B on a center line 54c over the screen 54. The deflecting yoke 53 generally consists of a paired horizontal deflecting coil and a paired vertical deflecting coil but it is not necessarily limited to this formation, that is, it will do that an electrostatic deflection system is allowed to use for. |
