<p>PURPOSE:To convert three-phase AC power into six pulsative DCs and three- phase ACs by using one transformer by specifying the connection of the primary- side winding and secondary-side winding of the transformer. CONSTITUTION:A star connection or a delta connection is formed on the primary side of the transformer, and two coils are wound through the same magnetic circuit at every phase on the secondary side. One pair on the secondary side is formed in a star connection or a delta connection, and other two are wound counterclockwise when one is wound clockwise in another one pair. According to such constitution, three single-phase ACs are extracted, and changed into six- pulsative DCs by using a semiconductor element or a rectifier, and three-phase ACs are extracted from said one pair. Consequently, three-phase ACs and DCs can be obtained by using one transformer, and manufacturing cost is lowered.</p> |
