PURPOSE:To prevent a copy from being stained with oil which is left atop of a separation pawl by providing the separation pawl so that the pawl contacts and leaves a fixing roll and wiping the pawl tip with felt under a guide plate when the pawl leaves the roll. CONSTITUTION:The separation pawl 8 supported pivotally on a fulcrum 15 is energized by a spring 18 so that the pawl tip is pressed against a heat roll 1, and the engagement pin 22 of a lever 20 which turns around a shaft 21 abuts on the pawl 8; and a conveyor guide plate 11 is notched corresponding to the pawl 8 and the felt 2 is fitted to the reverse surface. When transfer paper passes, a solenoid 19 is excited and the pawl 8 is moved by the pin 22 to a solid-line position in a figure to wipe the pawl tip with the felt 12. When the solenoid is turned off, the pawl 8 abut on the roll 1, but the pawl tip is clean at this time, so a copy is prevented from being stained with oil left atop of the pawl tip. |
