Method of lining ducts, in which a tube of a plastics material of a thermally recoverable shape, which has been extruded in a primarily cylindrical form and has an outside diameter which corresponds primarily to the smallest inside dimension of the duct, is compressed to a largest outside dimension, which is smaller than the original outside diameter of the tube. The compressed tube is then introduced into the duct, to be imparted a tendency to return to its original shape in place in the duct by heating the tube to or above its crystallisation temperature. |
