The invention relates to an electro-optical receiving antenna in which the radio-frequency signal received from a passive antenna structure is fed to an optical modulator and an optical signal is modulated there with the radio-frequency signal. The optical signal modulated in this way is fed to an optical receiver and converted there back into an electric signal.
