PURPOSE:To obtain a cassette tape recorder of a simple constitution which can be miniaturized with high operability by setting the interlocking positions between a pair of control members and a pair of pinch levers at the rear side of each rotary shaft of the paired pinch levers when viewed from a cassette half. CONSTITUTION:In a reproduction mode of a tape, a tape end detecting mechanism detects the tape end and turns a detection lever to the clockwise direction. Then a reverse driving lever 83 is turned to the counterclockwise direction. In this case, the lever 83 presses a side of a projected part 847 of a gear 84 via a guide pin 832 and turns the gear 84 slightly clockwise. Thus the gear 84 engages a gear 50 of a right flywheel 27 and is turned to shift a reproduction slider 38 toward an arrow F or E. As a result, the slider 83 actuates the 1st or the 2nd switch slider 39 or 40 to switch the tapt traveling to the forward or reverse direction. |
