COMBUSTION-STATE DETECTOR FOR INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE

PURPOSE:To properly detect the combustion-state for the detection of the ignition limit by providing an ignition judging circuit which receives each output signal of a differential output type pressure detector and an angle detector and detects the combustion state. CONSTITUTION:An internal-combustion engine E is equipped with a differential output type pressure detector 1 which detects the pressure in a cylinder and an angle detector 2 which calculates the timing from crank-position detectors 212 and 213. An ignition judging circuit 3 outputs an ignition judgement output signal S(34) on the basis of the output S(1) of the pressure detector 1 and the outputs S(24a)-S(24c) of a timing calculation circuit 24. Since detection of combustion- state is properly performed, the ignition limit of an internal-combustion engine can be detected.
