PURPOSE:To obtain an economical tight closure magnetic disk device with which the assembling work is simple by providing at least three coupling members which support an auxiliary base board at a prescribed position to a main base board and a positioning device which mounts a write/read magnetic head for information to a magnetic disk. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic disk device is assembled in the following procedure. That is, a magnetic disk 56 and a space ring 57 are stacked alternately on a magnetic disk mounting surface of a spindle hub 58. Then a rotary shaft 46 which is fixed with a screw via a cover plate 59 is supported rotatably by a base plate 42 via a bearing 48. The upper end of the shaft 46 is fitted into a bearing 50 and supported by a sub-base 60, and this base 60 is fixed to a coupling rod 62 to assemble a spindle. Such a spindle is mounted to a servo track writing device (STW device), and finally the spindle and a positioner are sealed up by a cover 44 to complete the assembly of a magnetic disk device. |
