ELECTROMAGNETIC PICKUP CARTRIDGE

PURPOSE:To prevent a shift of a damper from the center of an oscillator during assembly by forming a tapered projection for the tip of a supporting pipe provided to a supporting line set at the rear side of a cantilever and then fitting said projection into the center hole of the damper. CONSTITUTION:A movable magnet 3 is set to the other end of a centilever 2 having a stylus tip 1 at its tip part, and at the same time a supporting pipe 5 attached to a supporting line 4 led out to the rear side of the lever 2 is fitted to a cylindrical supporter 9 which is regularly positioned at the center between pole pieces 8 and 8 at the tip of a yoke 7 wound around a generating coil 6. The tip of the pipe 5 is tapered and then put into a center hole 10a of a damper 10, and therefore the force is applied to expand the damper 10 in the same direction as well as to press the damper 10 toward the front side. Thus the damper 10 can be regularly set to both magnet 3 and supporter 9 with high adhesive strength. Therefore the coincidence is obtained between the magnet 3 and the center line of the damper 10, and the magnet 3 can be positioned regularly at the center of the yoke 7 with a free angular movement.
