摘要 The optical cable has a buffered central strength member for high tensile stresses on to which are stranded optical base members (GE) which are likewise for high tensile stresses and of which each contains at least one optical fibre (LWL). The base members (GE) are applied to the central strength member (ZE) with alternating stranding direction and with a stranding lay which corresponds to 20 to 50 times the outside diameter of a base member. The reversing points of the stranding direction are situated at a spacing which corresponds to 200 to 300 times the outside diameter of a base member (GE). The outer sheath (AM) is constructed from an elastomeric thermoplast which by virtue of friction grip between itself and the outer skin of the base members (GE) largely prevents a relative movement between these base members (GE) and the outer sheath. <IMAGE>
