The invention relates to a housing for an automatic safety-belt reeling mechanism which is made of plastic in order to save weight and cost. Force transmission takes place essentially by means of a bent wire part embedded in the wall. This bent wire part surrounds the shaft bores for force absorption and for force transmission is guided into the rear wall to the fastening bore. The plastic housing forms essentially the functional structure, whilst the embedded bent wire part takes over the load transfer. <IMAGE>
