The adjustable jig or assembly bed, comprises a set of standard interchangeable and connectable locating pieces or chocks, designed to secure frame members e.g. during the making of joints. The members or components can be made from conventional construction material. The equipment can be used by the layman in the workshop, or on assembly lines. - Different pieces cater for L, T, and X shaped frame nodes with or without angled bracings. A typical example comprises a right angle triangular base plate (7) with side walls (2). A corner opening (1) eliminates adhesion of jointing glues etc. An angled vertical cantilevered plate (10) locates the mitred ends of braces. Certain angles (3) are marked (12) with drill holes (5) and shims (4), for other applications.(1/16)
