PRECISION PRESSURE METER

PURPOSE:To improve the measuring accuracy with reduction in friction resistance between a sleeve and a ram by interposing the sleeve between an open section of a cylinder and a ram so that the sleeve alone can be rotated without turning the ram to ensure an accurate vertical movement thereof. CONSTITUTION:A pressure fluid to be measured is introduced into a cylinder chamber 8 through a conduit 3 while a rotary drive mechanism 6 is started to rotate a sleeve 4. A pressing force works on a ram 5 according to a pressure of the fluid and is transmitted to a tray 24 of an electronic balance 7. A specified conversion value is computed and added to the pressing force and indicated on a display 22. This causes the sleeve 4 alone to rotate without turning the ram 5 to ensure an accurate vertical movement with reduction in friction resistance between the two thereby enhancing the measuring accuracy.
