PURPOSE:To prevent production of frictional heat by forming an inclined face having gap reducing gradually as approaching to the inner circumferential friction face on the inner wall face of wall containing magnetic powder and feeding the magnetic powder into gap through centrifugal force thereby making the distribution of powder in the gap uniform. CONSTITUTION:Under non-excited state of an exciting coil 16, the magnetic powder 36 deposits in layer onto the inner circumferential friction face 18 through centrifugal force. Here the magnetic powder at the outside of gap 32 will receive force directing toward the gap 32 through function of inclined faces 62, 64 to move into the gap 32 to fill the magnetic powder 36 densely in the gap 32. Upon excitation of coil 36, the magnetic powder 36 is attracted to said face 18 and filled in the gap 32 uniformly with high density. Consequently torque is transmitted stably to prevent production of frictional heat. |
