Sleeves for receiving flat articles, such as for instance audio or video discs, are known, the side flaps of which have a width of approximately the thickness of a disc for joining front side and rear side of the sleeve and are adhesive bonded to each other in an overlapping manner. The production of these sleeves is made difficult by the tendency of the side flaps after the folding operation to spring back in the direction of their original position before the adhesive has set. According to the invention, the side flaps are cured of this tendency to spring back by being folded inwards through 180 DEG , pressed down and folded back again before the actual folding operation. |
