The invention relates to a device for training appliances, which has two shaft outputs, the first shaft output supporting a crank, while the second shaft output is set up for the application of a counterforce. The aim of this device is optimum training results, in particular for high-performance sports. This is achieved when the device (1) is equipped with a motor (11) of any type, e.g. with an electric motor, the output of which exceeds the fitness of a person training and to which a crank drive (12) is connected which is connected in drive terms by means of its connecting rod (13) directly or indirectly via an intermediate link to an application point (14), which is set back radially from the shaft axis, of the second shaft output (3), and all the drive means are designed with dimensions such that the swivel range of the training crank (9) can achieve a good 180 DEG , and it is possible to achieve or manage an arbitrary number of swivel ranges less than this. <IMAGE>
