Stylus for a contact panel

The position of a stylus on a contact panel is supplied to a data acquisition device. A switching device, to be operated manually, generates an acquisition signal for the data acquisition device. To generate the acquisition signal without pressure on the contact panel, the tip electrode is arranged at the stylus sleeve without being coupled to the switching device. The electrically conductive stylus sleeve has on its outside a flat electrode which is electrically insulated with respect to the sleeve. This electrode and the stylus sleeve are connected to a switching element which generates the acquisition signal as soon as the stylus sleeve and the flat electrode are manually contacted.
