PURPOSE:To reduce the number of connected cables and simplify the output processing, by connecting a host computer and plural local computers in series through a serial transmission line. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 1 stores data, which should be transmitted to a local computer 9, in an ROM12M and outputs this data for every address by a CPU11M. Output data is transmitted as a serial signal from a transmitter and receiver 14M for serial transmission to a serial transmission line 10. Each computer 9 receives the serial signal, which is transmitted from the transmission line 10, in a transmitter and receiver 14L for serial transmission, and transmits it to the next-stage computer 9 through the transmission line 10. Data coinciding with a preliminarily set address out of the serial signal received by this transmitter and receiver 14L is taken in by a CPU11L. |
