PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the supply of a commercial power supply to each of a data transmission terminal equipment by providing a power supply section receiving power through a 2-way CATV line to the data transmission terminal equipment CONSTITUTION:The power supply section 32 receiving power through a 2-way CATV line 2 is provided to a data transmission terminal equipment 3. A power signal (p) outputted from a feeder panel 22 of the line 2 is superimposed on a data signal (a) outputted from a data transmission central equipment 1, the result is fed to a 2-way repeater 21 and then fed to the equipment 3. When the equipment 3 receives a superimposing signal between the signals (a), (p), a distribution section 31 separates signals (a), (b), the signal (a) is outputted to a processing section 33 and the signal (p) is outputted to the power supply section 32. The power supply section 32 supplies a circuit voltage obtained through the conversion of the signal (p) to all the processing section 33 and the equipment 3. Thus, it is not required to supply the commercial power supply to each of the equipment 3.
