PURPOSE:To make the time required for storage shortest and localize the operation stop part of a host computer accompanied with a trouble, by providing a trouble information storage device, where trouble information of the host computer is preserved, to store necessary trouble information. CONSTITUTION:If a trouble occurs in a part of a CPU10, it is detected immediately by an error control circuit 12, and the operation of this part is stopped. At this stop time, the state of hardware in the faulty part is recorded in a shift register 32 by a scan-out part 11. It is written from the register 32 to a dump memory 3 word by word; and when necessary trouble information is stored compeltely, the faulty part is restarted by the circuit 12. Data stored in the memory 3 is transferred to a service processor 2 through a data output register 33. Thus, the time required for storage of trouble information is made shortest, and the operation stop of the host computer accompanied with the trouble is localized. |
