摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the grain size distribution in the circumferential direction of a blast furnace in the stage of charging a raw material therein by providing a partition plate, slip plates and a distribution plate in a vertical chute provided below a feeder for feeding the raw material thereby eliminating the grain segregation in the transverse direction of the raw material discharged onto a charging conveyor 7. CONSTITUTION:A partition plate 11 which bisects a charging conveyor on the centerline thereof, and right and left slip plates 12 graded in opposite directions are provided in a vertical chute 10 below a feeder 9 for feeding, and a distribution plate 13 having a crest-shaped section and a downward grade toward the center is provided below said plates. The raw material discharged into the chute 10 in the state of having segregation in the transverse direction is changed by the plate 11, the plates 12 and the plate 13 to have the grain segregation on the front and rear in the longitudinal direction of a charging conveyor 7. The raw material is further discharged by the downward grade of the plate 13 to the part of the conveyor 7 near the central axis thereof. The coarse grains are thus discharged to the rear near the central axis of the conveyor 4 and the fine grains to the front, whereby the grain segregation in the transverse direction is eliminated.
