PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a dynamic vibration damper and to make it possible to maintain its stable performance, by making no use of a high performance bearing as conventionally used for vertically guiding a weight and as well by making the maintenance therefor unnecessary. CONSTITUTION:A dynamic vibration absorber comprises a base 11, four pillars 12 planted to the four corners of the base 11, a damper 13 disposed on the center of the base 11, a weight 16 connected to and surrounding the damper 13, and plate springs 18 arranged at least in two stages vertically spaced, and having its base ends which are secured to the four pillars 12, respectively, in horizontal planes, and front ends connected to the weight 16. When the above- mentioned weight 16 vertically moves, the plate springs 18 are vertically deflected. However, since the flexural rigidity of the plate springs 18 is sufficiently low, no substantial affection is applied to the movement of the weight 16. |
