PURPOSE:To obtain normal operation characteristics of a brushless motor with less torque pulsation and irregular rotation by combining anisotropic permanent magnets which are divided to obtain an ideal magnetic flux distribution. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 5 is composed of C-shaped sectional permanent magnets 11a, 11c which are treated in anisotropy in thicknesswise direction and opposed at the axis, and C-shaped sectional permanent magnets 11b, 11d which are treated in anisotropy in a tangential direction, i.e., in a direction perpendicular to the thicknesswise direction and opposed at the axis. These magnets 11a-11d are divided into four segments at 90 deg. of central angles from the center. A magnetic field is applied to a cylinder which is composed of the magnets 11a-11d in an anisotropy direction 10 to magnetize it, thereby forming a rotor. |
