PURPOSE:To improve the heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger by a method wherein the heat of a disused gas is transmitted to a liquid within a rotary shaft through rotating heat pipes and the liquid is converted into steam or hot water. CONSTITUTION:The heat pipes 1 are fixed to the rotary shaft 41 in such a manner that they are displaced from one another in the circumferential direction and the rotary shaft 41 which is formed integral with a drum 42 is driven. The disused gas 11 transfers heat to both ends of each of the heat pipes 1 at a cylindrical section 45 after flowing through a passage 47 and is discharged from an outlet port on the right side. At the same time, the liquid 12 such as water is supplied into the rotary shaft 41 from the left, heated by the heat of the disused gas 11 absorbed by the heat pipes 1 and collected from the outlet port of the rotary shaft 41 on the right side so that the heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger is improved. |
