PURPOSE:To prevent a time loss in manufacturing a carton for a detergent, by automatically bonding a reinforcing tape on another as the former is moved together with a cardboard for the carton. CONSTITUTION:A cardboard (b) is moved at a constant speed in the direction of an arrow A. A tape (a) is pulled out of a winding roll 14, bonded on the cardboard (b) by a pushing roller 12 and moved together with the cardboard. When the quantity of the winding roll 14 of the first tape (a) is decreased to the vicinity of its end, a band brake 32 for the second tape (a') is removed of the tension to temporarily stop braking a winding roll 15. Pressure rollers 22, 23 are then rotated by one round at the same speed in the same direction as the tape (a) so that the tapes (a), (a') are bonded on each other by coupling tapes (c) covering the tapes (a), (a'). A cutter 30 is operated to cut off the tape (a). Thereafter on, the tape (a') is bonded on the cardboard (b). |
