PURPOSE:To automate polishing measurement by fixing a dial gauge equipped with an electrical contact onto a holder arm through an installation plate, in a polishing mechanism for a fine spherical-core lens having a small or medium diameter. CONSTITUTION:In an automatic polishing measurement apparatus, a lens (work) L to be polished is set onto an abrasive saucer 1, and a polishing holder 24 is set onto the lens L while, the polishing measurement value for the lens L to be polished is determined, and a control knob 32 is set. Then, an abrasive saucer revolving and switching mechanism and a mechanism B are operated. Then, simultaneously with the revolution of the saucer 1, a whole box swings, and the polishing holder 24 is pressurized through a holder shaft 20, and the lens L set between the saucer 1 and the holder 24 is polished automatically. With such a measurement apparatus installed, manual operation can be eliminated, and perfect control through automatic control is permitted. |
