PURPOSE:To attenuate a vibration by providing an inertial mass unit and a viscous friction member, thereby absorbing vibration energy due to the variation in the angular speed at the starting time and during rotation. CONSTITUTION:Bearings 7a, 8 are rotatably journaled to a shaft 2 which is integrated with a rotor 1 having permanent magnet poles. The bearings 7a, 8 are secured to a stator 3. An inertial mass unit 9a which forms a washer shape is disposed externally of the bearing 7a. A viscous frictional member 10a formed of rubber of the like is secured to the shaft 2 through a spacer 11. The mass unit 9a is radially and axially movably engaged and held with the member 10a. The abnormal vibration of the rotor 1 is eliminated by the mass unit 9a and the frictional member 10a.
