PURPOSE:To raise frequency for formation of particles of ink by suppressing residual vibration after the injection of ink by forming a groove vertically to the flow of ink in at least one of a path through which ink is flowed by the injection of ink droplets, a pressure chamber and a supply path. CONSTITUTION:A groove 11 vertically to the flow of ink is formed in at least one of a supply path 3, an ink path 5 and a pressure chamber 10. A voltage is applied to a trembler 7, and ink droplets are injected. The variation (x) of meniscus after the formation of ink particles at the time T1 reaches an equilibrium state at the time T2, as shown by curve (f) and restores to equilibrium state in a shorter time than the conventional return time T2, as shown by curve (e), so that the cycle of the formation of particles can be hastened. |
