PURPOSE:To process the data on plural tracks through a single system circuit and to limit the number of digital filters just to one by equalizing the reproduced waveforms, etc. after selecting in time division the reproduced waveform for each track and then converting these waveforms into digital signal. CONSTITUTION:The signal recorded to each track of a magnetic tape 1 is reproduced by a magnetic head 2 corresponding to each track and then amplified by an amplifier circuit 3. An MPX13 selects successively the outputs of the circuits 3 of each track, and the reproduced waveform of each track is successively converted into digital signals by an A/D converter 14. The data converted into digital signals are once stored in an RAM15 and then read out successively to be subjected to the equalization of waveform through a digital silter 26. The data subjected to equalization is stored in an RAM20, and only the code bit is extracted out of the data stored in the RAM20 to undergo the signal processing such as an error correction, etc. through a signal processing circuit 6. The processed bit is then converted into an analog signal by a D/A converter 7 and delivered to an audio signal output terminal 8. |
