PURPOSE:To handle numbers of bags securely and simultaneously by placing packed products under a vacuum and returning them to atmospheric pressure, and detecting whether there is a pinhole or not from whether the packed products deform or not at that time. CONSTITUTION:Packed products A are put in an airtight container B, which is then evacuated by a vacuum pump connected to a port 5. As the pressure P1 in the container B drops, pressure difference from the pressure P2 in the packing materials 2 is generated and if a packing material 2 has a pinhole, its internal gas leaks out. The vacuum pressure P1 in the container B is held at a specific value for a specific time and the inside of the container B is returned to atmospheric pressure through the port 5. Packed products which have no pinhole are still in their original puffy shapes, but the packed product with the pinhole deforms in such a form that the packing material 2 contacts closely to the surface of the packed body 1. Therefore, only the deformed packed product is selected to remove only the defective product with the pinhole. |
