CONSTITUTION:Water flow regulating valves 21, 29 of supply ports 22, 30 for tap water are opened to fill the cooling water in an annular cooling water jacket 19. The water is sprayed from water spray nozzles 20, 20.... The showers of the sprayed water are applied on the upper side of a coupling body 5 and the lower side is held immersed in the water. If the water accumulates to a preset volume, the valve in a draining port 24 is opened to drain the water in a drain ditch 12 so that the specified volume of the cooling water is stored in the lower half of the space. A clamping device 35 is rotated to rotate the body 5 via chucks 36, 36, 36 and to move forward and backward a TIG welding device 37 along a rail 38, whereby a torch 43 is spirally moved in the body 5 and build-up welding is performed. |
