PURPOSE:To improve the crosstalk and to prevent the deterioration of reproduction output by providing a coil of a rotary transformer for field reproduction between the coil of a rotary transformer connected to a standard speed recording/reproducing head and the coil of a rotary transformer connected to a long- time recording/reproducing head. CONSTITUTION:In a standard speed recording/reproducing time, long-time recording/reproducing heads 3 and 4 and fixed side rotary transformer coils T3, T4 and T5 provided at the side approximately orthogonal to standard speed recording/reproducing heads 1 and 2 are all short-circuited by switches S1, S2 and S3. While only fixed side rotary transformer coils T1 and T2 at the side opposite to the rotary side rotary transformer coils T1 and T2 connected to the heads 1 and 2 are short-circuited by the switches S1 and S2 in a long time recording/reproducing time and a field reproducing time. In such a way, the deterioration of reproduction output is prevented for the heads 3 and 4. In addition, the coil T3 is opened by the swich S3 in a field reproducing time. A switch S4 performs a switch between the field reproducing and long time recording/reproducing times. |
