PURPOSE:To obtain a titled hollow member with high accuracy by deforming plastically both open end faces of a groove being parallel to an axis by broaching when manufacturing a member formed by closing both ends of plural grooves in a hollow cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Both end faces of a broach working part of a hollow cylinder 24 are turned and worked to a shape having annular grooves 27, 28 and annular projections 25, 26. Valve port grooves 7-14 are worked by broaching. A mandrel 35 is inserted into a hollow hole, the annular projections 25, 26 are pressed by a side wall 41 of an annular tool 38, are worked plastically and are made to press-contact with the mandrel 35. By removing the annular tool 38 and the mandrel 35, a hollow grooves member whose both ends are closed is obtained. In this method a mass-production can be realized by a simple working method. |
