摘要 PURPOSE:To perform accurate temperature measurement, by capturing a region in front of and at the rear of a heating position including a forge welding part to be butted by a welding horn by an image guide, and obtaining the temperature distribution in the direction perpendicular to the moving direction of a metal strip. CONSTITUTION:Light from the light emitting end of an image guide 7 passes a lens 7b, and a part of the light beam is reflected by a half mirror 7c and inputted into an image pickup device 13 through a plane mirror 7f. The other part of the light beam is transmitted through the half mirror and reaches an optical filter 7d, which is an interference filter. The transmitted light reaches an image pickup device 11. The light reflected by the filter 7d reaches an optical filter 7e and an image pickup device 12. The image pickup device 13 is used for capturing the edge parts at both ends of a skelp S, which is curved in a tubular shape. The image pickup devices 11 and 12 are provided to obtain the data for two color temperature operation, and a photoelectric transducer elements, which can perform random scanning of image desectors and the like, is used for the devices.
