<p>PURPOSE:To raise a pressure transfer rate by forming a transfer layer by a mixture of fluorosilicone rubber and silicone rubber. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate transfer roll 1 which contacts with a photosensitive drum 9 by pressure of, for instance, about 0.4kg/cm has a surface layer 38 whose main component is a mixture of silicone rubber and fluorosilicone rubber, therefore, toner particles on the drum 9 are peeled off sufficiently, are subjected to preheating and are carried to a position of the following press-contacting roll 18. The roll 18 heats copying paper 24 fed through a guide plate 22 and a carrying roll 23 by a paper feed roll 21 from a paper feed case 20, feeds it in between the roll 1 and the roll 18, separates or transfers a toner image from the roll 1, and fixes the toner image on the paper 24. As for the silicone rubber, methyl silicone rubber, methyl phenyl silicone rubber, etc. will do, and fluorosilicone rubber consists of that which is obtained by replacing and introducing a fluorine atom with and into a part of silicone rubber. Fluorosilicone rubber: silicone rubber = (50:50)-(90:10) is suitable.</p> |
