PURPOSE:To simplify facility by a method wherein when a pressure in a steam drum is increased due to trouble in a water supplying pump and the like, an emergency turbine is operated by steam in the steam drum, the steam is liquified by the emergency condensor and recirculated to the steam drum. CONSTITUTION:When a water supplying pump 15 arranged downstream of a condenser 14 gets trouble to terminate supplying of water into a steam drum 9, pressure in the steam drum 9 is increased and operation of a plant is stopped by a controller 38. The controller 38 closes control valves 12, 16 and at the same time opens remote-controlled valves 31 36 to cause steam in the steam drum 9 to be flowed into an emergency condeser tank 28, to be supplied to the emergency turbine 32 and drive the turbine 32. As a result, a generator 33 is rotated, the motor 34 is operated with the generated power and a sea water pump 35 is rotated. With this arrangement, sea water is flowed into the emergency condensor 28 to cool the steam and then the condensed water is recirculated to the steam drum 9 with the condenser pump 29. |
