PURPOSE:To drive a pile into the ground without noise and vibration by a method in which a static load is applied axially to a pile of an annular cross section, provided in the vertical direction, and the pile is driven into the ground while being turned. CONSTITUTION:A static load is applied to a steel tubular pile by a weight 7, and electric current is supplied to a stator 3 for drive, whereupon a rotational force is given to the pile 1 by the mutual action of the rotational magnetic field and the pile 1 to drive the pile 1 into the ground. Since a static load is applied to the steel tubular pile 1 and the pile 1 is driven into the ground while being turned, the pile 1 can thus be driven without generating noise and vibration. |
