Switch-box cable connection

The connections between the output contacts of a switchbox and cables have at least one heavy conductor which, excepting its ends, is embedded in insulation, preferably polyurethane foam; at least its end in the switchbox makes a plug-in type connection and this end is surrounded by a collar which projects some distance beyond it. The design significantly reduces risk of arcing. Cast resin can also be used instead of polyurethane foam.
