PURPOSE:To provide a lubricating oil composition with a markedly improved lubricating property, prepared by adding a polythioacetic acid ester and a fluorocarbon resin to a lubricating oil. CONSTITUTION:The composition is prepared by adding 1-50wt% polythioacetic acid ester (e.g. polythioisobutyl acetate) and 0.01-0.05wt% fluorocarbon resin (e.g. polytetrafluoroethylene resin) to a base lubricating oil. Combined use of the two components increases the lubricating property of the composition to a marked extent as compared with the case when they are added independently. |
