This invention brings about, with one or more devices 5, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 placed between hull(s) 3 of a multihull 2 + 7 + 3 and the crosspiece(s) of this type of boat (7), a rigid connection, only if the multihull is in its normal floating position 3. This device makes possible by adequate automatic unlocking the rotation 8 for autonomous self-righting, on the axis 4 of the hull(s) 3 if the multihull is overturned, (rotation 9, position 3'). The relocking of this rigid connection is reconstituted automatically or the multihull reassumes its normal flotation position 3 by rotation 8. The locking is brought about by the introduction of the "latch" 15 into the "latch catch" 10 and unlocking by extraction of the piece 15. The invention thus eliminates the difficulty of self-righting which is characteristic of this type of boat. <IMAGE>
