摘要 PURPOSE:To lower the running cost of a pump plant, by changing a predictive curve of the average amount of water required per one day obtained from the data in the past according to the amount of water demanded actually, and controlling switching of the number of pumps to be operated by making much account of two predicted values of the amount of demanded water. CONSTITUTION:In case that the method of this invention is applied in a plant in which water in a cleaning water reservoir 6 is supplied to a water supply basin 3 via a piping system 2 through operation of a pump apparatus 1 having a plurality of pumps connected in parallel, necessary electric signals are at first soted by sampling the same at proper time intervals, and then data after passing of 1DELTAt hour from the time is predicted after passing of a time DELTAt on the basis of the past data. Further, data after passing of 1DELTAt hour is predicted from the past data by causing parallel shifting of the predicted amount of water demanded per one day on the basis of the data obtained from measurement. The number of pumps to be operated is determined by effecting high-accuracy predictive calculation by use of the above two data, detecting the number of pumps to be started and stopped, and estimating the method of operation.
