PURPOSE:To make the miniaturization of ink springing out part of recording pen possible, by a method wherein the conduit conducting recording ink is pressurized from outer peripheral surface with a film state electrostrictive material and ink is blown out from the tip of nozzle. CONSTITUTION:The recording ink inside conduit 2 is pressurized in the direction of nozzle 1 according to the fact that film state electrostrictive materials 3A- 3D generate electrostrictive phenomena successively, the recording ink being blown out from a nozzle 1 and simultaneously negative pressure being generated inside the conduit 2, and the recording ink is fed from an ink reservoir by this negative pressure. That is, the inside of conduit 2 is pressurized by the shrinkage of electrostrictive material 3A and successively the recording ink in conduit 2 is pressurized in the direction of nozzle 1 by the shrinkage of electrostrictive material 3B. Thus, when the electrostrictive material 3B is excited, the excitation of electrostrictive material 3A has been ended and therefore the shrunk electrostrictive material is expanded to the original state. At that time, negative pressure is generated at the position of electrostrictive material 3A and the recording ink is fed from the ink reservoir by this negative pressure. Thus, the shape of nozzle can be sufficiently miniaturized. |
